Providing 3D Models for Patient Families

Bringing hearts home

The Cardiac 3D Print Lab at Phoenix Children’s Hospital offers the latest in 3D printing for the purposes of surgical planning and family consultation. The lab was one of the first of its kind to bring this type of technology to patient care, and now Heart Effect is proud to announce the first program that gifts a 3D model to patient families!

Applications for this program are reviewed monthly and one of our representatives will reach out to you upon processing your application. Please be aware there is a lengthy wait list to receive a 3D model, and applications are processed in the order they are received.

If you are interested in learning how you can support this program, please contact us.

Want to hear what these models mean to families? We'll let them tell you.

Apply for a Heart

Thank you for your interest in the Heart for the Home program. Because of a generous grant from a community partner, we are able to provide a small number of hearts for families, annually, for four years.

We are no longer accepting applications for 2018 but enrollment will reopen in February 2019. A special, pre-application booth will be available at the Kickball Tournament.

Thank you again and enjoy a wonderful day!

Hearts For the Home

These beautiful heart models mean the world to the patients and families they go home to.

We would like to give special thanks to Lane Award for their generous partnership in helping us provide presentation boxes and plaques for these hearts.
